We collect various types of information: • Account Information: Name, email, phone number, profile picture, and location • Professional Information: Skills, expertise, industry experience, and startup interests • Communication Data: Messages, emails, and interactions with other users • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, features used, and interaction patterns • Optional Information: Bio, pitch documents, social media links you choose to provide • Sign-up Information: When you create an account we collect your name, email and WhatsApp number (with country code) along with your password, which our authentication provider stores only as a secure hash. We keep a copy of your name and contact details in Google Sheets so we can contact you about early access. During early access, the pitches, drafts and other content you add in the app are stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers You may provide some information voluntarily, while other information is collected automatically through cookies and tracking technologies.

We use collected information to: • Create, maintain, and improve your account and profile • Provide AI-powered cofounder matching and recommendations • Communicate with you about service updates, features, and promotions • Process transactions and send related confirmations • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service • Conduct analytics to improve user experience and platform performance • Personalize your experience and deliver relevant content • Send marketing emails (with your opt-in consent)
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share information with: • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf. Today these are: Vercel and Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery), Supabase (account sign-in and the account database), Google (Google Analytics for usage analytics, and Google Sheets via Google Apps Script to store sign-up details), Microsoft Clarity (session recordings and heatmaps used to improve the site), and WhatsApp (if you choose to contact us or join our community there) • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety • Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale • Other Users: Your profile information is visible to other BiggMate users as part of the matchmaking service • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information Third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and only access data necessary for their functions.
